What is this Elemental Medicine business?

Thank you for asking me that question! Elemental Medicine is a revamped offering of mine, it is an oracle card forecast that seeks to answer the question, “What medicine do I need to navigate the month ahead?” The Elemental part of the medicine speaks to the various zodiac signs (Earth, Water, Fire, and Air). Each month, I’ll be pulling a card for each of the four elements and channeling a message for them. If you’re subscribed to my mailing list, you already have this in your inbox right now! Earth Signs (Virgo, Capricorn, and Taurus)

The Heir (Rx)

            Welcome to May, Dear Earth Signs! This month, your Elemental Medicine arrives in the from of the Heir in the reverse position. The energy of the Heir is unseen potential and hesitation. In the reverse position however, this card states that you’re not ready to accept the fact that you’ve reached the end of one journey and the beginning of the next is strange and unfamiliar to you. First of all, you should be proud of yourself! Closing the door on a chapter is a big deal. You may feel empty and unsure as you look forward, as the path ahead may not be well lit, or even well defined. Take a deep breath and release the chapter you have completed. You cannot go forward if you keep a foot on the old path. It is nothing but familiar quicksand. Acknowledge that this new season is scary but be prepared to close the door on what is old, so you can walk straight into what is awaiting you.

Air Signs (Libra, Aquarius, and Gemini)

The Puppeteer

            Welcome to May, Dear Air Signs! This month, your Elemental Medicine comes in the form of the Puppeteer, in the upright position. Look, sometimes you put your foot in your mouth. You say the wrong thing, you misread a situation, or you just embarrass yourself. You aren’t the only person who has made such a mistake. We are human being after all! This month, if you find yourself with your sandal in your mouth, own up to it and smooth things over. Remember that it isn’t always about being right, especially when in this case, you likely aren’t lol. Whether you find yourself needed to apologize or explain this month, do so with grace. It is a small price to pay to maintain the important relationships in your life.

Water Signs (Pisces, Cancer, and Scorpio)

The Acolyte

            Welcome to May, Dear Water Signs! This month, your Elemental Medicine comes in the form of the Acolyte, in the upright position. The energy of the Acolyte is one of new projects and learning. If it feels like you’ve been stagnant and not making any progress, it may be time to think of doing something a little different. Take some time this month to explore learning a new hobby, taking a class, or having a fresh experience. You are being called to remember that learning is an infinite journey. Much like the Hangman in Tarot, you may just need to look at things differently. Embarking on a fun, new experience will provide the fresh perspective you need this month.

Fire Signs (Sagittarius, Aries, and Leo)

The Diviner

            Welcome to May, Dear Fire Signs! This month, your Elemental Medicine comes in the form of the Diviner, in the upright position. The energy of the Diviner is that of divine timing and evaluation. You have done everything you need to do to achieve your desired outcome, and right now there is nothing more you can do it speed up the process. Before you start throwing tomatoes at me, please know that I am just the messenger! Instead of tying yourself in knows and waiting impatiently, take this time to evaluate your progress thus far! Look at how far you’ve come. That warrants a celebration, so clap for yourself! All you can do now is let things unfold in their correct time. You’ve done the work, now you wait for the delivery. Just be sure that when you do get the intended outcome, you’re in the best position to embrace it.
