What is this Elemental Medicine business?

Thank you for asking me that question! Elemental Medicine is a revamped offering of mine, it is an oracle card forecast that seeks to answer the question, “What medicine do I need to navigate the month ahead?” The Elemental part of the medicine speaks to the various zodiac signs (Earth, Water, Fire, and Air). Each month, I’ll be pulling a card for each of the four elements and channeling a message for them. If you’re subscribed to my mailing list, you already have this in your inbox right now! Fire Signs (Sagittarius, Aries, and Leo)

The Herald

            Welcome to April, Fire Signs! This month your medicine came in the form of the Herald, in the upright position. The Herald speaks to small regrets and longing. This month you are being reminded not to lose sight of what is ahead because you’re too focused on what you’ve lost or left behind. It can be really easy to get caught up in life’s many, ‘what ifs’, but you’ll be so weighed down with them, you’ll miss out on the beauty of the right now. You’re being called to be your own Herald of change, this month. Call in something new and beautiful this season and don’t let whatever melancholia you may be feeling, keep you from finding joy in your current moment.

Earth Signs (Virgo, Capricorn, and Taurus)

The Astronomer (Rx)

            Welcome to April, Dear Earth Signs! This month your medicine came in the form of the Astronomer in the reverse position. The Astronomer speaks to discovery and augury, which is a form of divination. In the reverse however, the Astronomer is asking you to think strategically before you act. Earth Signs, read that again. Thinking strategically and planning before you act is not the same as thinking you know everything, getting bogged down by minute details, or bossing people around. The things you seek to accomplish require careful planning and focus. I know the oceans are boiling but when is the last time you mapped out how you’d like to move this year? You want to make sure that you reach your goals and in order to do so, you need to dot your I’s and cross your t’s. Do not take any action out of desperation, Earth Signs. Think critically but don’t be hypercritical with yourself this month.         

Air Signs (Libra, Aquarius, and Gemini)

The Catalyst

            Welcome to April, Air Signs! This month your medicine came in the form of the Catalyst, in the upright position. The Catalyst speaks to radical changes and taking control. This month your medicine seeks to remind you that this life is going to move and change, whether you want it to or not. We are currently in an eclipse season (I am no astro babe), but things may be feeling extra weird for you now. Growth is uncomfortable and can be disorienting, but staying the same simply isn’t an option. You are coming through as the hurricane that blows away stale cobwebs. You are the bolt of lightening that topples the tower and ushers in new things. Change is coming. Your best course of action is to be flexible and prepared for what comes next. Hold on to your butts, Dear Air Signs.

Water Signs (Pisces, Cancer, and Scorpio)

The Muse

            Welcome to April, Water Signs! This month, your medicine came in the form of the Muse, in the upright position. The energy of the Muse is that of generosity or naivety. This month you are being called to embrace a little bit of the dreamer’s spirit. I am not talking about willful delusion! I am talking about internalizing the belief that difficult situations can be improved upon with hard work and some optimism. Remember, you need the hard work and the optimism. At the risk of sounding a lil churchy, you’ve got to tie your faith to the faith of others this month. Sometimes we just need to hear another person say, “This is actually possible. You can do it!” Let me be that person for you this month. Do not become jaded and hard and call it maturity. Embrace positivity this month and tie that positivity with your actions, Dear Water Signs.
